Haldo Plates

12 G galvanised steel plate specially pressed to clamp onto bottom of circular, square or rectangular steel posts, with any external coating. No screws, brackets or drilling required. The design prevents posts rotating in, or pulling out of, baseplate. It also prevents rotation of the baseplate in concrete or consolidated ground.

Haldo Plates are available in two sizes:
150x150mm will fit 60mm and 76mm diameter circular posts, square or rectangular posts whose dimensions are not less than 50mm or more than 80mm.

230x230mm will fit 89mm and 114mm diameter circular posts, and square or rectangular post whose dimensions are not less than 89mm or more than 150mm.

To comply with BS873, the base area of the HALDO PLATE must be five times greater than the base area of a parallel sided post and two and one half times greater than the base area of an enlarged base post.

Post Extension

Tubular Steel Posts plascoated in grey or hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. Fitted with a HALDO JOINT at the lower end ready to tighten directly into the existing post.

Positively prevents the sign being turned about the post by wind or the casual vandal.
Manufactured from selected alloy they provide a simple, quick, aesthetically pleasing and maintenance free bracket chosen for inclusion in the Design Index by the Design Council for mounting small signplates without stiffeners.

The core diameter is controlled to allow a good fit over coated posts whilst allowing use with painted posts.

Threaded to receive two 12mm long 5/16"W stainless steel screws at 38mm centres to hold sign(s) to HALDO RING and fitted with stainless steel socket set screw to lock HALDO RING to post.

Fabricated from 25x25x3mm M.S.Tee section welded to a circlet which is passed over and locked onto the 76mm o.d. post with a stainless steel socket set screw.

All plascoated black or grey.

Signplates up to 1050mm long and 0.75 sq. metres in area canbe mounted offset to the post, single sided, double sided orback-to-back.

Brackets are available plain or pierced for 4.8mm rivets. Please specify pierced or unpierced when ordering.

Haldo Joints

For fitting to customer’s own tube. Available to fit tube of the following diameters: 76mm, 89mm and 114mm.
