technical infomation
The double tier bicycle racks make it possible to duplicate the amount of bikes stored in a specific space. To simplify the lifting of the bike to the upper level, the upper gutters can be pulled out and are supplied with a gas pressure spring.
The lower end of the upper gutter will end at 42 cm. above the floor, which makes it easier to lift the bike on the upper gutter of the rack.
The strength needed to store the bike in the upper gutter on the upper level is max. 15 kg.
(On this system a Dutch patent is granted with no. NL 1023019. A European patent is applied for with no. EP 04075939.1.)
The lifting height (max. 42 cm.) as well as the maximum lifting weight (15 kg.) equal the Dutch quality mark “Fietsparkeur”. The wheel gutters with their tapered shape are suitable for most tyre widths.
